Madison agency promotes from within following record year.
Shine United is pleased to announce three new leadership promotions: Joe Fisher to Director of Operations, and Nick Newlin and Emily Bohochik to the position of Group Account Director.
“Much like its founders, Joe came to Shine with a wealth of big agency – and big client experience. His deep understanding of the agency business made him a great Account Director – and will serve us extremely well in his new role as Director of Operations,” said Mike Kriefski, Shine United’s President and Executive Creative Director. “We have a saying around here, ‘Good is the enemy of great,’ meaning that doing good work is easy – doing great work, well that’s the hard part. Which is exactly why Emily and Nick have been promoted to Group Account Director. They understand exactly what it takes to do great work for clients – and have been doing it at Shine for years.”
The role of Director of Operations is a new position at Shine and Joe Fisher’s previous experience as our Account Director make him uniquely qualified for this new role. He will oversee the day-to-day business of Shine, ensuring the agency is running smoothly and efficiently, making optimizations along the way. He will also oversee Shine’s full-service media team, which is tasked with developing and executing comprehensive media plans for Shine’s clients.
Shine veterans Nick Newlin, who is celebrating 15-years with Shine, and Emily Bohochik, who has been at Shine for almost nine years, are being promoted to the role of Group Account Director. Together, they will oversee the Shine’s account service team. Previously, Nick served as Shine’s Digital Director and Emily was an Account Supervisor. “Thanks to Joe’s leadership, the account service team – and Shine as a whole – is poised for success in 2019 and beyond,” said Emily Bohochik. “We’re excited for this next phase of growth.”
